What happens during an Overhaul Media project?
We’ll ask you to fill out our request for proposal document, this document creates a general overview of the project requirements. We can also meet in person with clients to create a scope of work.
Once Overhaul Media has a full understanding of the project requirements we’ll put together a proposal outlining estimated times, costs and any other specific needs.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Cancellations can be accommodated but you have reserved a block of Overhaul Media’s time. Due to this deposits are not refundable but can be rescheduled.
How long will it take to get my website up and running?
Depending on your specific project needs it could be as soon as one work week or months before your project is complete.
How do I update my website?
Overhaul Media produces most websites with a content management system (“CMS”) included. What does that mean? Well it means you or someone within your company can update text, images or items on your website. There is a certain level of computer proficiency involved but no code wrangling at all!
What happens if we need photographs taken of products, people, places or something else?
Overhaul Media has a large collection of royalty free stock photos for use. We also arrange and direct small to medium photo shoots if you require exclusive shots.
How do I know my website is preforming?
Overhaul Media makes full use of Google Analytics a free but powerful website statistics application. This will let you know:
- Where your visitors are coming from
- A little bit about who they are
- What they searched for to find you
- And much more
What happens if we get a great idea for a feature or website content?
Thats awesome, we’ll help you put the technical magic behind your idea. If there is a project proposal & agreement underway the chances are this will be ‘out of scope’ and require an new time and cost estimate.
How long will Overhaul Media keep my website source files and material?
Overhaul Media archives all projects for 1 year due to the size of files involved todays rich media digital wold.
What is web hosting?
Web hosting is a monthly fee that you pay to have your site accessible on the Internet. This fee pays for the server storage space, configuration, maintenance, support and connection to the internet. We can provide web hosting for our clients. We may also refer you to another company if you have special or large scale requirements.
What are your office hours?
We work Monday to Friday, excluding holidays. We like to take our weekends off. Just because we’re designers & programmers, doesn’t mean we don’t have lives.
